Today is the Day

Today is the day I start. Start on what? I’m not quite sure.

Start on defining what I’d like to change. Start holding myself accountable for taking action on improving my situation and becoming more happy overall.

Started reading the happiness project. I think I may make a running chart of qualities and whether I embraced them each day or FAILED. If I can keep up with it, its likely the attributes will be changing over time.

Day 1: Complete Fail

Short message to say I completed failed on every single one of my habit goals yesterday. Actually I sat on the couch half the day and watched reality TV. I didn’t even do any chores or errands. Completely useless. Obviously I really need changes and motivation.

Week 1: Goals, Habits, and Challenges

I’m trying to break up my mini challenges into a few separate categories.

Habits:

1. Increase healthy food. Eat vegetables with every dinner this week.

2. Follow week 4 of Couch to 5k plan.

3. Apply to (3) Jobs with cover letters each day.

4. Spend 1 hour per day on government application.

Challenge:

1. Declutter 30 items in 30 days.

Goal:

1. Redeveloped general resume by the end of the week.

2. Secure a part time job in the next two weeks.
